My Opinion on Cartoons

I have an interest in animation and filmmaking. I like to draw comics and learn more about how TV shows were made. I mean, if you want a TV channel to show cartoons on, you have Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and others. The first is awful, but the other two channels are very good at TV shows.

Nickelodeon, according to YouTuber Pieguyrulz, needs to die. It has SpongeBob and Fairly Odd Parents on their last legs (although I heard the former's original creator is returning, so we won't get crap like A Pal for Gary or One Coarse Meal), the ugly Adobe Flash animated cartoon Breadwinners, the disgusting Sanjay and Craig, awful "sitcoms" like The Thundermans and Henry Danger, and the Kid's Choice Awards. There is only one good show on there according to some animation critics: The Legend of Korra. And I hope M. Night Shymalan won't make a movie out of Korra, because his Last Airbender movie was bad. I'm glad I never saw that movie. Instead, I got a Nostalgia Critic review of it. And it was WAY better than the movie, that's for sure.

Cartoon Network had a rough spot, but is back to its normal awesomeness. I mean, you can't say Adventure Time and Regular Show are awful shows. I like both shows. They are able to tell stories very well, and I'd highly recommend it to kids my age, because younger kids wouldn't want to be taught how to slay things with swords or say words like "sucks" or "freaking". CN also has Gumball, which is possibly a better (and reverse if you think about it) version of Breadwinners, Steven Universe (which is good at general humor), and its possibly only dud, Teen Titans Go!, which made its way onto a second season. I never watch Teen Titans Go! because it just rips off the original Teen Titans in many different ways, and it also fails at humor (like saying "Waffles" for 11 minutes straight).

Disney Channel, owned by the ever popular Disney, is also great. It is basically Nickelodeon in its better form. You have shows like Phineas & Ferb (a former favorite) and Gravity Falls for cartoons, and Austin & Ally and Jessie for sitcoms. They also dub over original Disney cartoons with the current voices for the characters. Disney only had one bad show, and it just aired cartoons that would hopefully become a series. Only one survived, and that was on a different network.

Well, that's my opinion on cartoons. I'll be talking about adult cartoons next time.

Minecraft interest (The Beginning)

I am a huge Minecraft fan...well, actually, I only play Pocket Edition. I started playing back in February but I actually purchased the game last August. I only explored my world and didn't do anything. This year, I become a huge fan of Minecraft PE, so much that it was all I cared about over the summer. I like the game a lot and have enjoyed over almost a year now. My cousins and best friend encouraged me to play it after I saw their work.

My first experience actually playing was back in March. My cousins used my devices to play the game when they visited for New Year's Eve. They just built basic houses and I thought they were cool. Once I got into the game I began exploring survival worlds and blowing up stuff in creative worlds. It wasn't until the spring I began to build houses. I made two houses in one world. The first was a small oak wooden house. It had a small hallway leading to a small room with all my stuff. The main thing I liked was a bedroom I made underground. I thought that was cool. The second was built in a mountain. I mined a small chunk of the mountain to place some oak slabs there, and then I put a ladder for me to climb up to my house. It had a few rooms: the entrance, a bedroom, a tiny storage, and an area for my other stuff. Nothing too imaginative.
I also destroyed my cousin's house in another world and built a larger house nearby. It was very cool. It had cobblestone fences all around, it was a good size house out of birch planks with some oak planks and spruce planks, a planned bedroom, a random area where my garden should've went, and a mine. I deleted it because my world glitched into creative mode.

My first big house was in a world I created. At first, I built a house inside a hill, but then I began to build a large cobblestone mansion. It was awesome. It had a small storage once you walked in, and then it had a main room with an ore stash, and everything else. I enjoyed it, and made a nice village around it. I LOVED that world. Afterwards, I pretty much got into the game right from there.

Around the summer, Minecraft PE got a new update and look. It basically added almost everything that the original (PC) had, but not everything. I hated the update originally, but now I think that it is awesome. I have more abilities, and a lot of ideas. I was even going to start a survival series on YouTube, but never did. You see, I own a Kindle Fire, which doesn't have recording. I might get an iDevice for Xmas, though, so I'll film vids on that. I also hope the game won't be deleted from the app store. If it does, I might start PC for a change! So, yes, that's all.
